His journey began at the young age of 16, establishing a career foundation built on hands-on dedication and an innate understanding of grounds maintenance.
Before launching Hampton Roads Mowers and Mulch, Aaron honed his skills by working with multiple large-scale, established landscape businesses across the region. This invaluable experience exposed him to a vast array of equipment, techniques, and operational best practices, cementing his reputation as a trusted authority.
After decades of contributing his expertise to others, Aaron took the entrepreneurial leap, channeling his extensive knowledge and passion into his own venture. While the location of Hampton Roads Mowers and Mulch is new, the business is a culmination of a lifetime spent mastering the industry—ensuring that every piece of equipment sold and every repair performed is backed by four decades of tested, practical experience.

His return was a perfect fit for Hampton Roads Mowers and Mulch. Johnathan combines his extensive background in landscape maintenance with a natural talent for sales and customer relations. This dual expertise allows him to fully understand customer needs and provide informed recommendations. Lucas Pikula | Marketing Director

His career began in the dynamic culinary world, where he worked as a cook at a local restaurant. This environment cultivated his creative mindset, his ability to work under pressure, and a strong focus on precise execution—skills that are surprisingly transferable to business strategy.
Seeking a new challenge and commitment, Lucas transitioned into service with the United States Navy. Over an exemplary eight-year career, he specialized as an IT/Cyber Security Specialist. This role refined his analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to complex technical details, making him adept at managing information and safeguarding vital systems.
After honorably serving his country, Lucas sought an opportunity that would allow him to channel his diverse experience into a new, growth-focused role. Joining Hampton Roads Mowers and Mulch, he became the Marketing Director. By leveraging the technical precision gained from the Navy and the creative approach honed in the kitchen, Lucas has played a crucial role in continuing the growth of this small business. His mission is to ensure that clients receive clear, comprehensive information and an engaging experience, connecting the company's decades of expertise with the community it serves.
